How is a Post-Construction Cleaning Is Different than a Standard Deep Clean?
Cleaning after construction is a specialized process, not routine housekeeping. A finished job site leaves behind:
- Fine silica and drywall dust that coats every surface and circulates through HVAC systems

Our 3-Phase Post-Construction Cleaning Process
We clean in three phases so nothing gets missed. The phases can run in a single day or split across visits by the size of the home, and we are often brought in for the final phase alone when another cleaner has fallen short.
Phase 1: Rough Clean
The heavy lift right after the contractor steps out. We remove ram board and floor protection, painter's tape, plastic window film, silicone and caulk residue, plastic covers on chandeliers and fixtures, cardboard, and paint from floors. We work delicately, vacuuming and mopping ram board before we lift it so debris is not pushed back into the air, and we protect floors, glass, and mirrors from scratches.
Phase 2: Detailed Clean
Once the heavy debris is gone and the finishes are safe to touch, we peel any remaining plastic, silicone, and tape from the windows, wipe down every surface, and pull fine dust from cabinets, drawers, tracks, vents, and fixtures.
Phase 3: Final Clean
The post-staging pass. After the furniture is in and the home is staged for photos or market, and it has had a few days to settle, we return for a top-to-bottom detail. We finish by photographing and reporting any damage to you or the property owner.
On larger post-construction projects, like full-home developments, estates, and large properties, an on-site supervisor walkthrough and full window cleaning come standard. Both are available on request for smaller jobs.
